Why Join a Group Walk?
At The Familiar Pet Sitter, we offer group dog walks Monday through Friday, all year long. Whether your dog is big or small, we welcome all breeds and sizes to join in on the fun! Our walks are designed to accommodate your dog’s needs, whether they prefer a leisurely stroll once a week or an exciting daily adventure.
Each day, we explore the stunning Santa Cruz mountains, taking your dog on unforgettable expeditions through state parks and scenic mountain trails. While we mix up the locations to keep things exciting, our most popular spots are Henry Cowell State Park and Fall Creek, both in Felton. These parks offer a wide variety of trails, so your dog will always encounter new sights and smells, keeping their walks fresh and fun. The walks are generally two hours long and have a change in elevation that provides adequate exercise for most breeds.
At The Familiar Pet Sitter, we focus on providing your dog with the best possible experience. Our group walks give your dog the opportunity to socialize with others, engage in playful sniffing, and form new friendships. On these trails we generally avoid other dogs that are not in our pack to create a safe and friendly environment for all.
We serve clients across the San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley, with convenient pick-up and drop-off services available for your dog. Whether you’re at work or prepping for your day, we’ll pick up your furry friend, ensuring they have a fun-filled and active day. For clients throughout Santa Cruz County, we’re happy to arrange meetings and pickups, so your dog can join in on the daily adventures.
Rain or shine, we’re dedicated to giving your pet an experience like no other. At The Familiar Pet Sitter, your dog’s happiness and safety are our top priorities. Stay tuned for next week’s post, where we’ll share more about our pet sitting services and how we can make your life easier!
